DIGITAL PRAYER WALL
How can we pray with you?
Jesus remained connected to the Father through His own prayer life, and we want to be committed to prayer throughout our body of believers, following His example. We've set up a prayer wall below where you can add prayer requests publicly, or anonymously.
As a community, we can check this page regularly to see how we can pray for each other. After praying for a request, hit the "I Prayed For This" button!
- Click the "Share Your Prayer Request" button below.
- Fill out appropriate information.
- Select a sharing level...
- "Share This" will share the request on the wall along with your name.
- "Share This Anonymously" will share the request on the wall without your name.
- "DO NOT Share This" will submit the prayer request to our Prayer Team ONLY.
- Check the "Email Me..." box if you'd like to be notified when someone prays for your request. Don't worry, this is the only thing this email address will be used for.
- Click the "Submit Request" button at the bottom of the form to submit your request for approval. We usually approve requests within 24-36 hours.
Add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
Upday - Dean's pacemaker implant went fine. Thanks for your prayers. Pray for Dean's patience, to temporarily give-up some of the things that he loves to do with his hands and find ways to occupy his mind, specifically in regards to a letter that he wants to send to his brothers who are not Christians.

Since I am not able to get back to Japan yet, I am prompted to move, relocate to a different neighborhood. So I am listening, waiting, and hoping to find a location to get active in some ministry. Maybe Torrance, Gardena, or anywhere else where there is a lot of Japanese residing.

For 3 days no interaction with anyone. Not just virus, but can't even go outside because of fire smoke. Lots of people pretty " locked up" inside now. Please pray Jesus to keep us sane through it. Grateful to be inside a " nice" house, but no one to even say "hi" to except online, and that's better than nothing, but online is never enough really, is it? I really need to stay strong of mind and spirit for my husband now, as he too is locked up and can't even visit his dog. Luckily, he has lots of people around him that he enjoys talking to, and he likes his roommate. But he would worry if I became too sad, he would hear it in my voice on the phone. So please dear Jesus, I know you protect and watch over me . Please keep my mind and Spirits healthy through these times ️

Not Covid related but could use some prayer concerning a family member's health and attacks from the enemy. They need REST, grace, mercy, and peace restored upon them. For protection for the rest of the family as well during this time.

Dear church family, you are so In Tune with the Holy Spirit ! The battle has been incredible, but God won't bring you to it, unless He'll see you thru it! With your encouragement, I have bravely faced incredible challenges, as wife & mother. Maarta struggles keeping food or fluids down. She had a CT scan last Friday, results his next week. CAT scan is on the 16th Sept. We sold our house in 10 days- only God. Gone from searching for apartments to moving in together with Maarta, renting a house, we get 2 x the space & with a garage we have storage. The cost is cheaper than 2 apartments! tho' living together has been a challenge in the past we're trying to find the right floor plan. My husband has been challenged to retire. He'd like to & worries if we will have enough to last in life, he needs faith & trust in our Precious Lord. bless you all, love Kathy v.

Update -- After Mike was transferred to Casa Colina, two days later he came down with an infection in his lung. He was in their ICU and recovery center for a week. He was intubated and placed on a ventilator. Also a chest tube was needed to drain the fluid in his lung. Praise God all that cleared and he was moved back to their Rehab center. This past week is the first full week Mike has been in Rehab. Mike has done as best as he is able, actually trying very hard, with his therapy. He is still unable to swallow but is also part of his therapy. Please pray for him to be able to drink and eat again and also he is experiencing anxiety and depression. Keep us in your prayers.

My father, Norman, is now scheduled to have surgery on September 16th to remove the tumor from his colon. He needs to go two weeks in isolation from others to ensure that he is negative for Coronavirus prior to having the procedure. Please pray for him to be healthy and remain positive and strong in mind, body and spirit in preparation for this surgery. Also for my amazing mother, Jeanette, as she cares for him. My dad has expressed his deep gratitude to all who have been praying for him, and has been experiencing God's presence and provision throughout this time.

Please pray for my 17-year-old grandson who is having huge struggles in the family’s new location since April 1. Will turn 18 in November and at this point says he will return to his former home city and live with his girlfriend there and complete high school online. Has made no effort to meet new friends in his new home.
Thank you Marilyn

Answers to my prayer requests. Dean definitely needs a pacemaker because of his slow heart rate, especially at night. It will take several weeks to get everything set-up so 2nd or 3rd week of Sept. maybe. My probate hearing was continued to Nov. 19. The judge has asked the opposition to file a formal petition of heirship and then my lawyer must file an objection. Thank you for praying for me. We're one step closer to resolving both issues.

Thank YOU dear prayer warriors. Tho' Maarta continues to struggle with pain, God brought buyers for our House from Illinois! Cash deal, will be complete end November, & we get to move closer to Maarta & family! about 200 miles south. There's senior housing, that we think will be perfect!- just 5 minutes from her- God is SOOO GOOD! 40 years to downsize our belongings, so I ask for favor to get thru it all! Thank you for prayers, bless you all! Kathy

My probate court date is this Fri., Aug. 28. Please pray that it is NOT postponed again, that the judge would look favorably on me as the administrator, and if I am called on, that the Lord would give me wisdom in what I say. Also, Dean had a holter monitor last week because his cardiologist believes that his heart rate is too slow and may recommend a pacemaker. Wisdom in questions to ask and decision to be made.

Update - Praise God! Mike was transferred to Casa Colina Thursday evening. His rehabilitation began the very next day. I am told his stay will be up to a month. All depends on how well he is responding. He has very good people taking care of him. I will be able to visit him once a week for a 1/2 hour; for now we FaceTime. He is still not able to have any food or drink due to the swelling in his throat from the surgery. He is hoping by Tuesday the NG tube will be removed. No movement in his hands and arms but his legs have begun to twitch all the time and I hear that is a good sign. He has been complaining of not being able to be in a position laying in bed where he can feel comfort in his shoulders. He has a neck brace and it may be part of the reason. The staff re-positions him and sometimes it takes several moves before he is ok. I have been able to sleep a little better. God will help me through this one day at a time. I worry and I pray as much or more. Thank you all for joining in prayer for Mike and I. God bless you.

Update. By the grace of God, Mike's surgery went well. The neurosurgeon repaired the fracture bones and compressed discs in Mike's neck. The spinal chord was intact. The surgeon is very optimistic Mike will regain mobility to his arms and legs and recover from this. "All things are possible with God." The recovery could take from six months up to a year or more. All depends on how quickly Mike's body will heal. Mike has a long road ahead and we will have our ups and downs but I believe our Lord will be with us all the way. The past couple of days have been such an emotional roller coaster. I have a verse of the Bible I am holding on to and is (Isaiah 41:13) -- For, I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.' From the time I heard about Mike's accident up to the time he went in for surgery; I was in a fog, confused, scared, having anxiety as I have never felt in my life before. Now, though I have my moments, I am more calm and the anxiety is gone and truly believe is because I am blessed to have in my life wonderful and kind people praying for both Mike and for me. Thank you!

It is with great sadness that I update that Jake passed away yesterday morning. His family made the difficult decision to take him off life support the night before.
This family is grieving and worrying about Dad facing charges...
It is with hope that I report that my sister offered to have a pastor from her church contact this family and Mom agreed. They do not know the Lord. Hopeful for this meeting and praying for Pastor Mike.

He suffered spinal chord injury. He is today, right now, in surgery. Please lift him up in prayer for the surgeon to be steady & guided by our Heavenly Father. Pray for Mike to regain the mobility of his arms and legs. Also, pray for my spiritual strength during this time and also salvation for Mike. Thank you!
