Hospitality: An Invitation to the Lord's Table (Week 1)

The customs of hospitality are as ancient as the scriptures, but many of us are unfamiliar with these practices. Not only is hospitality commanded in the scriptures of all of Christ’s disciples, but we can only get so far trying to build a community without engaging one another in hospitality. More importantly we live in a time when, like the First Century, an increasing number of people are ignorant or even resistant to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and where hospitality may once again be key to the way in which the good news is shared with others.

Scripture References: Revelation 3:20, Romans 12:13, Hebrews 13:2, 1 Peter 4:9
