How Do We Love: Singles (Week 4)

Our natural tendency in church is to focus on those who are married and their families. In doing so, we can often overlook the very real needs and contributions of those who remain single, whether by choice or otherwise. We also struggle with how best to minister to those who want very much to find a spouse, or those who have lost a spouse and find themselves single again. How should we practically love those who remain single or find themselves single again? What do the scriptures teach on singleness, and how can our churches balance a biblical view of both marriage and singleness? How do we love, support and strengthen those who are single so they can remain set apart in the midst of this hyper-sexualized culture in which we live?
