LAST WEEK'S MESSAGE

Dennis Bachman - December 31, 2017

On Mission - Missional People are RISK TAKERS

On Mission

Missional people are willing to bet their whole lives on Jesus. This leads them to an openness, a responsiveness to God's promptings that move them to invest their lives for maximum Kingdom impact. Belief gives way to action as they trust in the resources of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct them, even to produce miracles to advance the kingdom of God, where what He wants done gets done. Through marketplace initiatives and missional communities, these risk takers raise leaders from and for the harvest.

Scripture References: Matthew 28:18-20, Proverbs 3:5, Matthew 10:37-39, Matthew 10:17-31, Colossians 3:17, Colossians 3:23-24, Acts 1:8

From Series: "On Mission"

When someone chooses to follow Jesus, they must understand what it means to be “on mission” – sent into the very places we find ourselves each day. We must have certain perspectives and attitudes that allow us to see relationships differently and to live into the missional calling that each of us has. This is an adventure that moves us with hope and vision into the very spaces we find ourselves in each day.
