LAST WEEK'S MESSAGE

On Mission - Missional People are SENT

On Mission

It is too easy to get comfortable in our cozy church buildings when the vision of Jesus was always to send his followers out into the places where God was at work. When we look outward today it might be easy to think that something has gone wrong or we can’t see what God is up to. Maybe that’s because we haven’t taken the first step of seeing ourselves as sent by Jesus and trusting him each step of the way as we enter that adventure.

Scripture References: Luke 10:1-12

From Series: "On Mission"

When someone chooses to follow Jesus, they must understand what it means to be “on mission” – sent into the very places we find ourselves each day. We must have certain perspectives and attitudes that allow us to see relationships differently and to live into the missional calling that each of us has. This is an adventure that moves us with hope and vision into the very spaces we find ourselves in each day.
