…For The Arts Tell Me So

Summer of Love

This week we are reflecting on human creativity as a clue to the God who loves his creation. The Bible tells us that King David danced and wrote poetry and songs, and that Jesus was a craftsman like his father, Joseph, as well as a storyteller and a singer. Some of the greatest works of art have been produced by men and women of faith. Every culture engages in artistic expression. What might this tell us about our human condition and how might we engage with creativity in order that we might encounter and proclaim the love of God?
