For The Bible Tells Me So Part Two: The Old Testament
The Old Testament Scriptures may not appear to be the most likely place to discover the love of God, at least in the popular imagination. Laws are given, judgements are proclaimed and delivered and God often appears capricious and frightening. This week we will explore the ancient texts of God’s people, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and discover that the love we find so evident in Jesus is actually on display throughout the Hebrew Scriptures.
