LAST WEEK'S MESSAGE

John Selbak - February 12, 2017

A New Kind of Righteousness

The Divine Conspiracy

Inspired by Chapter 5 pages 129-147 of Dallas Willard’s book Divine Conspiracy. Jesus did not plan to abolish the Jewish scriptures but to challenge his listeners to move beyond the righteousness of the religious leaders of the day to a different sort or righteousness. Jesus provides six examples of how the old rightness is replaced by the presence of the kingdom.

Scripture References: Matthew 5:17-20

From Series: "The Divine Conspiracy"

God's plan to overcome evil with good.
