On Mission - Missional People are AMBASSADORS

On Mission

We are called to be Christ’s ambassadors, sent by our King to bring the ministry of reconciliation to others. This might seem daunting when we wonder if we are capable or worthy of serving Christ in this capacity. We are helped by remembering that we speak on behalf of Christ, and for that reason, we will be given what to say. Moreover, what we bring is truly good news, and we can rest assured that we will have plenty to speak about from the way God has worked through the “ordinary” parts of our journey of following after Jesus.

Scripture References: Luke 12:11-12, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, Acts 3:1-26, Acts 4:1-22

From Series: "On Mission"

When someone chooses to follow Jesus, they must understand what it means to be “on mission” – sent into the very places we find ourselves each day. We must have certain perspectives and attitudes that allow us to see relationships differently and to live into the missional calling that each of us has. This is an adventure that moves us with hope and vision into the very spaces we find ourselves in each day.
