Inspired by Chapter 2 of Dallas Willard’s book Divine Conspiracy. Although discipleship to Jesus is at the heart of the gospel, faith and churchgoing are often about going to heaven when I die or making the world a better place. As a result, Christians are not much different than other people. Without discipleship, we miss out on having an interactive relationship with God that permeates our ordinary life and Jesus does not become our teacher in every aspect of life.
