The world is brimming over with the wrong kind of anger. The Bible therefore tells us that "the anger of man does achieve the righteousness of God." But there's a different kind of anger that God commands us all to have. Ephesians 4 tells us to put on the "new self," speak truth, and "be angry," yet do not sin. Jesus' anger is godly anger. There are fifteen different stories in the Gospel accounts that illustrate Jesus' anger. Many Christians know that Jesus was perfect and that Jesus set an example for us to follow. Are we ready to imitate Jesus in His anger? This sermon has to do with finding the moral courage to be angry LIKE JESUS, so that we can show the world the overcoming power of God's love.
