We want to be real with you...

We're not pretending to have all the answers or hold the cheat codes to life. We believe that God's got an endless supply of grace and forgiveness for anyone and everyone. So, whether you're from Outer Space or have more questions than a toddler, come on down and be a part of our hilarious, slightly dysfunctional, but always loving family!

Let's face it...

Being the perfect role model is just not in the cards for any of us. We've all been guilty of "faking it 'til we make it" at some point or putting up a front to feel accepted and loved. It's like we're trying to audition for some never-ending reality show!

But you know what? We don't have to keep up that act with God. He sees us for who we really are – the messy, imperfect humans that we are – and still loves us unconditionally. It's like He's saying, "I see your quirks, and I still think you're pretty amazing."

God isn't interested in keeping us at arm's length; He wants to be a part of our journey, helping us grow and become better versions of ourselves. His love isn't dependent on our perfection; it's all about accepting us as we are and guiding us toward a life of love and compassion for Him and our fellow human beings.

So, let's drop the pretense and embrace our true selves. It's a liberating feeling to know that we don't have to be flawless to be loved. With a little help from God and a lot of self-acceptance, we can navigate this crazy world with grace and authenticity.

St. Augustine totally nailed it:

"In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things love." At NewSong Church, we hold these words close to our hearts.

When we gather each week, we'll dive deep into Christ-centered convictions that Christians have long agreed upon - the timeless "Essentials."* These teachings have shaped us and given us a sense of purpose and fulfillment, leading us to share this abundant life with others.

But we're not here to enforce rigid dogmas or demand blind obedience. No, we welcome questions and understand that we won't always see eye-to-eye on every theological detail. It's in those moments of respectful dialogue and discovery that we grow both as individuals and as a community.

We place our trust in God's guidance, believing that He reveals His truth in His time and in the context of our unique circumstances. It's a journey we embark on together, seeking wisdom and understanding with humility and compassion.

So, come as you are, with your doubts and uncertainties, and let's explore faith and love together at NewSong Church. We may not have all the answers, but we'll walk this path side by side, supporting and caring for one another along the way.

*The Nicene Creed and the Apostles Creed are great places to find that information.
